I rarely get angry. Here lately though? I’ve stayed pretty worked up about 3 issues: immigration, same-sex marriage, and women in ministry.

The Bible does many things, but I suggest its main purpose is to tell us something about who God is. The Bible does that quite well; but it also does a frightfully good job of exposing humanity’s frailties.

Some thoughts on practicing Lent
For my Lenten discipline, I try to select something to add or eliminate that will remind me frequently of Christ’s deep love for all of creation and my responsibility to reflect that love in my daily life.
