My Depression: A compilation

Depression a compilation

I’ve written a lot of posts about my life with depression. Here’s the list in the order I recommend reading them. Also, some of these have editing issues that I’ll get around to one of these days, I promise.

Thanks for reading! Now here’s a list of resources for people coping with depression themselves.

If you are experiencing depression, please seek help. I know it’s hard. Shoot it’s hard to pull back the covers. Just do one thing.

  • Step outside and breathe fresh air.
  • Call a friend.
  • Watch a video that makes you smile. Tip: search for “corgi mixes.” You’re welcome.
  • Do one tiny task–and I mean TINY. Throw one piece of trash in the can. Delete one unnecessary email. Fold one piece of laundry.
  • Spend time with an animal.
  • Just do one thing. And then do one tiny thing more. . .

If you are considering harming yourself, please reach out. Call 988. Someone is always available to talk with you.

Above all, know this: you really are not alone. I promise.
